Alan Pickering - Managing Director

Alan comes from a civil and marine engineering background, and has extensive experience of modern marina design and management, gained through his worldwide involvement, as both an operator and consultant, with the international yachting scene. Alan has extensive personal experience in the fields of international yacht sales, yacht charter worldwide, yacht maintenance and yacht management.

Mike Willie - Director

Mike comes from a sailing background having worked on charter yachts in the Mediterranean since 1980. Over the years Mike has built, skippered and managed many luxury yachts. During seasons in the Caribbean, Mike played an active role in the development and management of a number of marinas in conjunction with large charter fleets. Additionally, Mike has also managed and operated marinas in this region, namely Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, Sebana Cove and Republic of Singapore Yacht Club.

Craig Marcombe - Project Manager

Craig has extensive experience in both the marine industry and project management. He has both corporate and small business experience in both fields. This has included over 20 years in the Royal Australian Navy, as well as running his own development companies over the past 15 years. He obtained a Masters degree in Management and Economics (with a major in Project Management) from the University of New South Wales in 1990. He and his family have also cruised extensively, including SE Asia, on their own boat.

John Mallen - Site Manager

John has been sailing yachts, cruising and racing offshore for more than 30 years. He is a certified RYA Offshore Yachtmaster (HKYA and RYA) with Ocean endorsement, and radio operator and celestial navigator. He has sailed more than 50,000 miles in Asian waters, Mediterranean, British and Irish home waters, Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans in virtually all weather conditions. Much of this sea time has been in command. John has owned two racing yachts and has extensive experience as an offshore racing navigator.

Bob Ashman - Associate Director

Bob has an Electrical Engineering background. He has traveled extensively during his career and has worked in Africa, Canada and the UK before setting up home in Singapore in 1990. He has been involved in competitive sailing for many years and as a former Commodore of Lagos Yacht Club and Changi Sailing Club, he continues to play an active role in organizing and participating regattas and other sailing events in the region. Bob served for several years as Chairman of the Straits Regatta organising committee.
